Today I saw it and enjoyed it. One of the reasons I enjoyed that is Kate Beckinsale! She's so cool!

I don't think this is vampire movie or were-wolf movie. Look at this movie! Nobody use crucifix or holy water. Well, if Were-wolf used crucifix to kill the vampire, that'll be horror comedy.

By the way while I'm seeing this movie, I was just wondering about one thing. At the fight scenes of Selene vs. Marcus, why didn't she use Ultraviolet-bullets(sp?).....? :confused:

I saw this Saturday and the sequel was much better than the first. Whereas the first lagged in many areas this one started off with action from the very start. It takes place hours after the events of the first with Selene and Michael hightailing it to a safehouse. Kraven goes back to the mansion with some men intent on destroying Marcus while he sleeps, but as the previews probably show, Marcus is already awake.

Perfect description. I did not care anything for the first one, but Evolution delivered in Spades everything I want in B-monster/action flick: practically non-stop action, better-than-average effects(Markus was a great villian) and a sense of fun. Lower your expectations a bit and you're in for a wild ride.
