Last night I watched My Name is Earl and think it has potential. Jason Lee has a charisma about him that I find engaging. The humor is quite crude with enough laughs for me to tune in next week.
I enjoyed "Earl" but thought it lacked something, though it does have heart. I also like Jason Lee alot and have always thought he was underrated. (Give him red hair and beard and he looks like my ex-husband, for whom I will always have a soft spot in my heart.)
Quote:Maybe I'm not 'in', but I couldn't stand the fifteen minutes of The Office that followed Earl.
The American version of "The Office" is AWFUL and unwatchable, as far as I'm concerned. P.U. It stinks.
Quote:I think Stacy Z. mentioned Invasion, which I will be taping this evening on my ancient VCR so I can zip through the commercials when I get around to watching it.
Haven't seen this one yet; I will check it out. I like my ancient VCR. Gets the job done.

Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.
