The long sought copy of Virgin was in the mail box friday night when I git home. I was already runnin' on eapresso beans and Jolly ranchers so I started reading after Battlestar G.

Finished Sunday afternoon and turned on the TV and there's this Meteorologoical event happening in the Gulf. Freaky!!

I also finished Virgin recently - I had picked it up at a used book store. I liked it quite a bit.

My compliments to your wife, Paul, on her excellent writing. :p Wink

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

Why Jimbo--don't you know? "F. Paul Wilson," the skilled and caring physician, is just a front for Mary's writing? Wink

Of course, but Mary is such a sweetheart that SHE deserves some of the credit. :p

That's true, Jimbo--but modesty can go too far! :p
