Just now I watched this trailer. While I'm watching trailer, many times I said "Wow!". Charlize Theron is cool! Check it.

Eh... didn't do much for me. Looks like every other bad-ass woman whooping ass movie. I just kept thinking, "It's another Catwoman and Elektra.

I am one of those people who enjoyed the original cartoon when it was on Liquid Television... before MTV bought the rights and made it a half-hour show. I also enjoyed the shorts because there was no talking. Once dialog was introduced the show held no interest for me.

I dunno. I'll only see this if I'm suddenly drawn to it one day. No interest as of now.

Aeon Flux DVD

The editorial review on Amazon makes me feel strangely guilty...

"Aeon Flux is teasing treat for libidinous teens and grownup guys with teenage tastes."

Surely there's more to liking it that just that? Right?

Haven't seen Aeon Flux in ages but it's fairly cool. One episode I recall has Aeon, and one of her partners set against several villains and they are fighting in a rather "step by step" action sequence on an oilrig where all are battling to regain control of a specific console. The ending of that particular episode is a bit of a surprise as well.

doesn't matter... each one had a separate plot totally out of sync with the rest.

The funny part is, I recognize the scene with the moving grass from one of the cartoons.... and I recognize the conversation in that scene. Looks like they ran out of things to write so they took a few things from the cartoon.

Saw the trailer for it finally. Ugh. Summary coming up in four words, five if the "Ugh" is included.

Refresh my memory. Is this the toon where she dies in every(?) episode?? Not sure if I'M remembering the right toon.

BTW...Jake Badlands. Is that a reference to Jake E. Lee??
