I got an unbelievable happiness!

I live in Japan, and I've been always waiting for FPW's translated edition...until now. So I hadn't chance to get his signed limited edition...until now(except signed Japanese editions. They were special gifts from Marc, Lisa, Susan, and FPW. Thank you!).

Today, I received "Infernal". As usual, Bluesman Mike sent it to me(THANKS!). I opened package, and I saw the book, then I got a really big surprise!

This signed numbered edition of Infernal is linited to 500 copies. This is number 486.

And, The Man's autograph! WooHoo!!! Big Grin

I've always wanted to get limited edition. But.....you know, I live in Japan, far from America, and FPW's original books doesn't come to Japanese book stores. So I thought I never get limited edition. Today, my dream came true!

Now, I'm reading Crisscross, 340 pages. Remainder are 75 pages. I must speed up to finish reading Crisscross. I was looking forward to Infernal!

Thank you, Bluesman Mike, and I say special thanks to FPW. Smile

Who's got a 485 and 487? Cool

Mine is #132. What a great book. I read it in 3 days. For me, that's a record. I usually only spend about 30 munites at a time reading, but not this time.

Yeah, I killed it in three days too. By the time I got to the final assortment of chapters I couldn't put it down, the suspense had carried me through afternoon to late evening.

Gosh! YOU ARE AWESOME! Big Grin

But in my case, I read The Hosts in 2 days. Cool But it was Japanese edition, of course. If it was English edition, it'll take 3 months. 2 days and 3 months, what a difference they are!

Today "I got" (in the mail from Shocklines):

1. Rakoshi
2. The Touch (BP signed #'d/1000)
3. Hosts (signed/#'d 1st)
4. Little Beige Book (signed #'d)

What a nice greeting from my PO Box this morning!!! My FPW collection is starting to look pretty respectable, which gives me "unbelievable happiness".

I still "need" Crisscross and The Haunted Air #'d 1sts. I'm beginning to think I may have to pay heavy for these (but what else am I going to do with my money? Give it to U2 for their politics?).

Reading is freedom.
The mind soars, no earthly cares,
no limitations.

Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.
You may quote me.
