Hello everyone. It's been a while for me and this board, but I've run into a problem. I was in the middle of reading Reprisal and I have misplaced it. Instead of spending more money on a new one, and waiting for it to arrive, I decided to read Infernal and then Nightworld. After that, I figure I'd rebuy Reprisal just so I can have the collection again.

If anyone hasn't read Reprisal, I may say a couple things below that could give something away.

Well, for Nightworld to make sense, I might need to know how Reprisal ends. I was cut off when Will was about to kill Danny to put him out of his misery. Some questions I have are a) what did Rasalom do to this Danny boy (as in draining him of blood, yet Danny being still alive) b) why did he do it (and is he doing this to play games with Will), and c) is the Stevens girl (already forgot her first name) ever brought up again? I have more, or I had more, but it's been about a week since I read a page of the book.

I've already started Infernal so there is no looking back.

There was once a man who was all obsessed with the strangest things. Like Nestle Quik, original cdr's and Afro-sheen. He built himself his dome, never left his home, decided life is much better when you're on your own. You might not want my opinion, but he coulda been on to something good.

SPOILER:

The title of the book is "REPRISAL" This is payback for the good Padre for his refusal to cave into his baser instincts when (Was it Carol?) Steven's was seducing him. The failure to corrupt him resulted in Carol's vaginal bleeding and a near miscarriage for R. Not one to forgive and forget, R exacted his revenge in one of the worst ways possible, he visited harm upon a child that Father Bill cared very deeply for.

This is one of the most disturbing episodes FPW has written. I was disturbed for quite a while after readuing it. And then the horror hit like a brick wall "Where is the blood going?"

To add to K The E, Carol is also a major player in Nightworld! She dosen't dissapear, she's a reason Nightworld didn't succed,(if you count the chant she started)! Of course it was a group effort!

Is Will still alive by book end?

Yeah, he makes it out alive to star in "Nightworld," but not without some serious heartbreak.

You may want to add a spoiler alert to your post for those who haven't read the book.

Reading is freedom.
The mind soars, no earthly cares,
no limitations.

Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.
