Go to the above link for a chance to bid on many of Effy's excellent early sci-fi stories! I already have all of these, so I'm not bidding against you. As I write this, there are only about 17 hours left before auction close!

ACT NOW!!! This is a unique opportunity!

I didn't know "F. Paul Wilson's short stories in ANALOG". I haven't Paypal, so I have to find out them in used book stores.

Thanks for info, Biggles. Smile

Thanks for the heads up, Biggles. Snapped up some more of the good doctor's 'hard to find' shorts.

I had a feeling this thread would take this turn after I posted, but I decided not to edit just to see what response it might generate Big Grin
It makes us avid collectors sound like some kind of reverse groupies. Instead of rock chicks throwing their briefs at their idols, we're running around trying to get hold of our hero's shorts.
And it's the boxers I like. A nice Borderlands boxed set would be very nice.
But then again, the briefs can be very nice too. 'The Do Gooder' is a case in point.

You are so immature. Although, I must say, between times when my wife does laundry it can be "hard to find" my own shorts, which are briefs, btw.

So..... they would be considered legal briefs, then? Big Grin

I simply could not pass up that opportunity!

Ironically, I do have lots of briefs. I go through a couple a month, and when I'm done with them, I mail them to the Court of Appeals. The judges there then review them carefully, and publish their opinions about them.

You know what they say: Old lawyers never die; they just lose their appeal.

I think I've beaten that dead horse enough. Big Grin
