I dunno guys, I'm not thrilled by the idea of a Simpsons movie. The show has gone south in quality since '00, IMO. I really don't want the film to be a rehash of what we're getting on T.V. The film should have been made years ago when the show was still funny.

I'll be in line for this one. It may not be as funny as it was a few years back, but they always (almost) pull out the big guns for the movie. And considering this movie has been in the planning stages for a few years now, I imagine they are trying to get it just right. Oh, and it'll probably take at least a year to animate.
