Is this another comment on KRW's avatar, or someone's favourite Repairman Jack moment? Sometimes I can't keep up! Big Grin

The subway scene in Hosts is my fave scene. Or maybe the one where RJ tussles with the big guy in the house that are sacrificing children. Can't remember which book that was in....

And I was lucky to pick up on KRW's avatar, seeing as I live in tornado alley...Smile

Both of those scenes were from Hosts.

Spoiler alert!

I thought he meant the part, "Better than a poke in the eye" (With a fork!) That was "The Haunted Air". The other is definatly "Hosts".

This was my choice as RJ's best moment(s). I couldn't decide which one I liked more.

Both of those were classics. I really identified with his rage in both, but the subway scene was the most politically powerful. Remember how Bernhard Goetz was demonized for doing the right thing years ago? That outraged me at the time, and that scene brought back the memory.

One of my favorite scenes is where he's coming under the effects of the drug in All the Rage while at Sutton Square, with Gia and Vicky. You're reading the text, and getting in his head, and you're realizing what a bad place he's going to. The amount of control he's able to exert over himself, to turn everything he has over to Gia, the trust in her, and the pressure on him ... It's fabulous.

And then, of course, he walks outside and deals with those two goons. Classic.

Compelled to illustrate our dreams and hopes
Victors hang in pictures, losers from ropes.
Regardless they all swing in the same boat.

My favorite scenes....

The Tomb--

The scene of Jack and Kolibati in bottom of a ship. Only she has necklace, so Jack carry Kolibati, and he slowly walked along with Kolibati into a throng of Rakoshi. That scene was thrilling and funny! Big Grin
