And how about Abigail Breslin for Vicky? She's still a little young, but she is so damn cute in Signs.

If I remember correctly, it was you who first suggested Luis Guzman on the old board. And I still agree with that choice.

Raymond Cruz would be a good choice as well. He was also in LAST STAND AT SABER RIVER with Tom Selleck.

Yes, I can imagine. Especially with Jennifer Lopez as Kusum. Big Grin

ROFL! I was becoming paler and paler as I read down the list. I thought you were serious.

Jennifer Lopez would make a very handsome Kusum! She'd had to do something about all those curves, though. Wink

Keanu, with the right hairdo and clothes, could become a kohl-eyed Kolibati. But he's so deadpan all the time. Kolibati has passion. Big Grin

Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.

Jack: Edward Norton
Gia: Drew Barrymore
Vicky: Flavor of the month kid actor
Abe: Joe Pesci (Hey, he's the right age and with a little more weight on him I think he would be a good alternate to Judd Hirsch).
Kusum: Wilmer Valderama (just my idea of a joke)
Kolibati: Halle Berry

Sorry buddy but Halle Berry is about as Indian as Willie Nelson is Chinese. She's also rather overrated as an actress.

Seriously open the gates up for more Indian actors, Hollywood!

You're right, Willie Nelson would make a much better Kolabati than Halle Berry -- why didn't I think of that?!

Come to think of it, Samuel L. Jackson would be even better yet!

It's taking place in China. Why would we want Indian actors?!?!

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.
