I don't remember a thread for this movie so forgive me if it has already been done.

I had heard some bad reviews for this movie but didn't find it to be bad at all. I thought it was supposed to be about EVP's but centered more toward the TV/white noise ghost videos- which was hoaky- but good for some scares and plot details. There are a number of details on the videos that tie things together, so if you don't pay attention you won't catch the twists coming. The most disappointing thing was the "bad guys" or whatever they should be called and the loss of explanation as to their ability to interact with the living. Not the ending I expected either, which was a nice turn. I was hoping for a more realistic feel to the movie but it was just the standard scary flick. Not bad though.

I'd like to hear Lisa's review on this one.

I saw this movie and didn't think it was too bad either. It was a slightly different concept for a scary movie. I also wondered about the connection between the three dark figures and the man that kidnapped/murdered those people. Overall it wasn't bad.

SPOILER...

The connection (highlight)- All I know is that he is on the videos often. He was also into the video watching stuff, so I think they were the only ghosts that spoke to him and they mind-f$%#ed him or something. Like Ouija possession that the blind psychic warned Keaton about. That's my best guess.

I'm glad to hear someone say something halfway positive about this movie - it gives me hope. I haven't seen it yet, but I'm working on it. Just added it to the Netflix queue.

I saw this in the theater and really didn't like it all, the pace of the movie just seemed to be moving at less then a snails pace. And I thought the ending was just very very weak. Keaton was good in it though, but thats about all I can say positive about it, in my opinion only of course.
