I think Hugh Jackman and Kate Beckinsale in Van Helsing would've been perfect if they had only kissed.

Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek in Desparado were perfect together. I was drooling over Antonio and my husband got to drool over Salma.

And of course Shrek and Fiona!

Here's another vote for Myrna Loy and William Powell. The Thin Man is my all-time favorite movie!

I watched Wild at Heart last night and must put Nicolas Cage and Laura Dern on my top ten movie couples of all time. Spenser Tracy and Kate Hepburn, Bogey and Hepburn, Bogey and Bacall, Martin Sheen and Sissy Spacek, are others I would include (you can figure out the movies they starred in). Any others?

Abbot and Costello?

Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis?

Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman in Moulin Rouge, some great little moments in that film.

And Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday.

Two of my favourite films.

Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy?

Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop?

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

Howdy Doody and Clarabell?

Reading is freedom.
The mind soars, no earthly cares,
no limitations.

Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.
You may quote me.
