Watched Under The Dome from the night before last. I hate being a day or two behind but it was a good episode. A buddy on FB spoiled it for me by posting what happened late Monday night. I was a little ticked.

I don't know how CBS expects to get another season out of this....but they are.

I was wondering the same thing. I honestly thought it was only going to be one season.

I haven't seen a second of the series, and hadn't heard of the book until recently. Is it impossible to dig your way out of the dome?

LOL! Considering it is called "The Dome" and not "The sphere" or "The Bubble" that is a damn good question. If Tim wrote that shit, the book and the series would have ended after 1 page.

The ending felt kind rushed. How does it compare to the book?

Why do I always do this to myself???

The series deviates somewhat from the book. Without giving it away, the book draws onward without a clue as to the dome's origin until the last few chapters.

I heard they re-did the ending to leave it as a cliffhanger once they found out they had been picked up for a second season. The way it was written, there was going to be a full explanation and closure. Not what we ended up getting.

I'm undecided as to whether I'll give this series another chance next season. Time will tell.
