So far, my only "eh" feeling about season 3 is the governor. He's not nearly as menacing as he is in the comics.

I like that they are creating this conflict between the camps of survivors but the last episode kind of pissed me off and was a bit of a shark jump for me. They knew the governor and his people would be coming for them, they knew. And yet they all wandered around in their soap opera misery and allowed their tower to be taken and a group to sneak up on them in a freaking truck IN BROAD DAYLIGHT! And the gun battle was silly. I do still really like a lot of the story lines and the characters but man, I was greatly disappointed in that episode.
