The story was weak but who cares about that?
They weren't bothered by the female nudity, just that it was sold as being for women yet had no explicit scenes of male nudity (though some said they prefer mystery anyway) but plenty of female. And the specifics of the story, of men who stole girlfriends, hooked up with sorority chicks, participated in group sex, are standard male porn.
All in all if you like Magic Mike so much, check out male porn. A few women really like it. If the guys in it aren't as hot as the ones in Magic Mike then try gay male porn, I hear the guys are better looking.
