okay, so the second it was available, i preordered two copies of the dark at the end for me and my father on amazon and that was months ago. i just woke up to an email this morning from amazon offering another preorder opportunity for the book, and saying it will be sent out july 15 or something like that. can anyone tell me what the deal is? is the book being released earlier or did amazon make a mistake? just curious, anyone knows anything good let me know! thank you!

I take it you preordered the regular release that comes out on October 11th.

There is also a limited edition coming out in July from Gauntlet Press.

Both will have the same story. Gauntlets version is signed and numbered (or lettered) with different cover art. And it comes out 3 months prior to the general release.
