I watched Pirate Radio last night and was solidly entertained. It tells the tale of group of DJs who anchored off Britian's coast to broadcast rock-n-roll because it was illegal to do so on land. I'm not sure how much artistic liberty they took but it's pretty wild to think such a situation could even occur. Philip Seymour Hoffman, Rhys Ifans(who I wouldn't mind seeing as RJ) and Bill Nighy are the standouts from a solid ensemble. Damn good soundtrack and great use of The Who's "My Generation." I would think that any classic rock fan would enjoy the movie.
