When I was visiting Westport last weekend, Bob's daughter Alexandra showed me this. Google THE ADVENTURES OF LITTLE CTHULHU. And prepare yourself for some big-league fun.

That's adorable.

Here's a link to those of you who don't google:

The Adventures of Lil' Cthulhu

I you like Lovecraft then you might also like that the next movie Guillermo Del Toro will direct is At the Mountains of Madness.

That makes me all kinds of happy. Been hearing he wanted to do this forever and now it seems like it is coming to be. Wooohooooo!

I heard he was doing ATMOM as well, but didn't think it was anywhere close to becoming a reality.

I just hope that he pulls it off (if anyone can, I bet he can do it) because there have been too many lame movies about Antartica and monsters and I hope people don't think this is just another crappy horror movie.

Before I visited Westport last month, Bob's wife Celeste told their son, "Uncle Mike's coming, Zachary. We'll need more Spam and Velveeta." And the 12-year old boy replied, "=That's= a seldom-heard phrase."

Spam AND Velveeta? Dear Lord Mike, they are going to find you body in 800 years and wonder how and why it is so well preserved.
