Angel of Death is a gritty noir low-budget winner. I picked it up because I saw that it was created and written by Ed Brubaker who is one my favorite comic book writers and I'm glad I did. Zoe Bell plays an assassin who gets stabbed in the head causing her to have flashbacks of her victims who point her to take down the very organization that she works for. The movie clocks in at 80 minutes so it doesn't waste any time but doesn't sacrifice a good story because of it; in fact it hones it down to its bare essentials. Bell is very believable as an ass-kicking assassin and I thought the rest of the cast was solid.
