Not *just* yourself anyway. I first read 'em in pub order, and agree with you: it hasn't detracted from my enjoyment a bit.
(Since 'The Keep' I've made it a point to read everything The Man has published that I could get my hands on as quickly as I could get my hands on it, so pub order was pretty much my only choice.)
