I gave it a shot and between Gia's actions at the beginning and Jack's reaction to the airport tragedy (sorry I just wasn't "moved" by what happened) I just cannot get myself to pick it up again, but I would like to finish the series just so I can read Nightworld...even though cobalt told me some spoilers for Nightworld...but in her defense, I made her tell me LOLYes, that should be no problem. Infernal was basically making Jack into a spear. But it may be the last of the books that has a a definitive end. The rest of them are encompassing so much that FPW has to carry the stories over into the next book and so on.

When you see stuff with Gia in it...skip that part. You would miss important info about the lady if you skip this book in it's entirety.

Unfortunately I went to grab the next book "Harbingers" and realized I didn't have it yet. I have Bloodline and By the Sword (which was the first book given to me so I read it out of order.) Now I am putting in an emergency order to Amazon! Can't wait for the next one!

I know, I am weird about this.
