Anyone catch this new show? From what I saw tonight I liked it a lot. If it catches on ABC could have a very good replacement for when lost ends next year. What did everyone else think of the start? I thought the ending was simple but oddly very eerie, and a little creepy.

Hi!

I enjoyed it. The opening was well done, although there was a bit too much exposition in a few sections of dialogue -- things that didn't need to be explained as overtly as they were, or things that could have used juuuuust a few fewer words. Still, an intriguing premise, and brought to us by Brannon Braga, who is a very nice guy and extremely talented.

The black and white video of "Suspect Zero" was a nice touch. Grainy, spooky, and strange.

This show will make it if it continues along these lines. I also liked the billboard for "Oceanic Airlines". There are all sorts of hidden things in this show, just like "Lost".

AICN (AintItCoolNews) said the first 20 minutes was great, but the rest is bad?

I don't know. I thought it was great the whole way through. I thought it over explained some small things in the middle, and i hated them actually calling the visions "flash forwards" but those were really my only complaints. I think even the shows creator's thought the first episode wasn't as thrilling or gripping as the show would end up being cause they seemed to really put a lot of emphasis on the previews for the season. After the ending surprise im hooked for as long as it lasts. I just hope it doesn't see a drop off in ratings next week and can stick around for a while.

BYW, did anyone else smile like I did when he saw Seth MacFarlane in a couple of scenes in the FBI offices?

Cool

You can watch the full episode on ABC in the States, and on CTV in Canada, if you missed it. This show is based on one of my favourite novels by Canadian author Robert J. Sawyer. I've met Rob, and he is a great guy.

It was amazing to see how well they adapted the book to television. Rob will write one of the first season episodes, and was there for some of the filming. He's got a cameo in the first episode and his name appears in the credits.

All over, a great first episode and a great cast. I'm looking forward to watching this show each week. If you missed it, please catch the first episode online. It's definitely worth your time.

Abe's raised eyebrows caused furrows in his extended forehead. "Five in twelve hours?"
"Oh, and like you've never had a cranky day?"
