I just got a newsletter from gauntlet with an update on Ground Zero. Everyone may have gotten this, but I thought I'd share:

"The latest Repairman Jack novel by F. Paul Wilson, Ground Zero, is now at the printer for a late-June/early-July release."

Can we consider late June or early July pretty concrete at this point or are they going for the whole "Under promise, over deliver" thing?

I fully expect to have a copy in my hands by the end of May. I speaking from many previous years experience with Gauntlet. They've been great (in my experience, of course) at meeting/beating their deadlines.

Awesome, I cant wait. I just recently got into the series. I read through it over the past 6 months or so. I am excited to be in on day one this time.

Welcome to day 1, Pennywise. You'll like it here.

Axioms Jack seems to live by (inadvertantly or not):

Why he does what he does: "I chose this life. I know what I'm doing. And on any given day, I could stop doing it. Today, however, isn't that day. And tomorrow won't be either." Bruce Wayne, Identity Crisis

On Rasalom: "Water's wet, the sky is blue...and good old Satan Claus, Jimmy...he's out there...and he's just gettin' stronger." Joe Hallenbeck, The Last Boyscout

Now that it's down to just under 3 weeks left in the month I'm begining to have my doubts of having Ground Zero before June. But Gauntlet did say Late June/ Early July.

I can't wait to read GZ, but unless you can alter time, speed up the harvest or teleport me off this rock, I guess I will have to. In the mean time.....

I just got back in the good graces of the local public library(dont ask) so that means I can stop scouring half priced books for The Adversary Cycle books(which they never have except the keep and the tomb) and just rent them from the library. So, I just picked up The Touch on my way home from work and I will jump into it with both feet tomorrow.
