How do you determine who is receiving this electricity, and where do you send the bill?

But Ken is right about how are they going to charge for this.

I doubt that the devices which could power a whole house would actually be for sale. I imagine that you'd have to rent them on a monthly basis. Then there would be the fees of properly 'tuning' all of the electronics that you want to work off of your rented device. That sounds like a good thing. It makes sure no one else is leeching off of your power. But if you move you'll need to get everything retuned. Or if you buy a new tv you'll have to have it properly tuned.

That's what I'm getting out of this. Sounds like a pain in the ass but I'm sure that several years down the road it may be commonplace.

That makes sense. Like a secure wireless router for internet access. This is seriously cool stuff. Cool

Wireless power...amazing. Once the infighting and "bugs" are worked out I can see this taking off like a rocket. Retro-fitting devices and the newer wire-less products will generate...haha......a bit of new industry for this country. That's of course if we don't allow foreign investment into it.

I can't see these devices powering a home or a building just yet. Small electronics being recharged makes sense. A company sending out waves of free power to be used by the public? No, that's not going to happen.

Holy crap, I know what I want!

An electric car with one of these devices installed in it. A car that will run indefinitely... That would be freaking amazing.

Oh, I'm sure President Obama will find a way. Didn't he promise us Charge You Can Believe In?
