I enjoyed Spaced. Just now I finished watching all 14 episodes. That's one of funniest TV series. It's very unique and it has originality. Somebody said "This is British version FRIENDS", but I thought this is better than FRIENDS.

Someone noticed Ricky Gervais was in one episode? And John Simm (Life on Mars) played Stephen in one episode. Big Grin

Dr.Who, Torchwood, MI-5, The Office, Life On Mars......now I really like BBC!

I thought Spaced was witty, clever, and absurd enough to be wonderful. One of the wittiest things they did was in the first episode. Pretty much when they first moved in, the two characters slept with each other and Simon Pegg says "Glad that's out of the way," or words to that effect. It set up a show that doesn't fall back into the same tired trap of sexual tension between male/female friends. Brilliant.

Oh, and the blonde guy who hears club music everywhere he goes is hilarious. So is the zombie episode. In fact, there was very little that I didn't like about that show at all. Glad to know I'm not the only non-Brit that liked it. Good work Kenji!

Spaced was made by Channel 4, not the BBC. Wink

I think it ismuch better than Friends too, and unlike Friends they went for QUALITY rather than QUANTITY.

I accidentally dropped a load of worthless change in the street. I was going to just leave it there but a burly policeman lumbered towards me and said, "You'd better pick that up, son."

Channel 4? Okay, I got it. Thanks! (Oh, I have to press the Thanks button) Confusedmilewinkgrin:

FRIENDS had 9 seasons. I liked them, but I thought they are too much. But Spaced had 14 episodes only. Too little. Confusedquigglemouth:
