I still catch GH every once in a while, but it seems to be increasingly less interested in actual evidence and I don't like their methodology much of the time. It's still fun sometimes, though. My favorite is still the Florida lighthouse.

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

Now, what's that supposed to be about, Tony? Ghost Hunting? It can get very strange.

Paul never told us if he experienced any ghostly happenings when he was in the Hotel Monteleone. It was featured on Ghost Hunters I believe. When I was there, the doors to the breakfast room never would stay shut despite being latched, the newer elevators never brought you to your floor first try and the revolving bar had way too many cold spots.

I've never seen Ghost Hunters...

But "Ghost Hunters" was Japanese title of "Big Trouble in Little China". I dunno why. But it's true. Wink

But I want to see Ghost Hunters someday. Sounds good to me.

If you have never seen Ghost Hunters you are missing a great show. It's a group of people who go and investigate allegedly haunted locations: homes, stores, old prisons and hosptials, etc.

The thing that I like about them, unlike the British "Most Haunted" is that these guys go in trying to debunk the haunting. If they are unable to debunk the haunting they either say that it has possible paranormal activity and on rare occasions they will come right out and say that the location is indeed haunted.

They have caught interesting stuff on film. Last night had some very clear EVP (Electronic Voice Phenmomenon). The voices caught on tape were not present until the tape was played back, when the hunters were asking their questions they could not hear the replies found on the tape.

Caught on tape was a mans voice saying "What do you want?" and then again later the same voice saying "Leave me alone." It was very clear as though it was spoken directly into the recorder.

Now..I don't particularly believe in ghosts, not having experienced anything that I can't logically explain away, but the idea that there might be something out there fascinates me.

Destination Truth is the sister show to Ghost Hunters where a crew travels to exotic and not so exoctic locales trying to track down legends like bigfoot and other various Cryptozoological wonders to see if there is any truth behind the sightings. Destination Truth is a great show which has yielded some fantastic finds...the truth behind many of the local legends.

"Here comes Jersey." Big Grin I think Tango is slowly coming out of his shell, don't you? I was cracking up at his provocation. And Grant... wedged into that small opening with something quickly approaching him. I think I would've pooped a little.

I've taped every episode since the beginning. Never miss it. Even watched all of the GH International episodes even though it's inferior to GH. GHI's 2nd season was much better than the 1st so maybe the next season will be more entertaining. I just find a couple of the investigators to be annoying.

I find this show more amusing than anything else. Josh is actually quite comical and makes the show worth watching.

Josh cracks me up to know end on Destination Truth. Just his intearctions with locals especially when there is a language barrier is priceless.

I Cracked up on GH when Tango did his "Here comes Jersey" line. And man, did he let loose a string of profanity. I don't know how he did it with a straight face.

GHI was okay, I liked the scenery in that show...the foreign shores, and CASTLES! My gosh some of that architecture was impressive. Di you notice that Brian Harnois got fired about 3 episodes in on GHI? His name mysteriously disappeared from the credits. The Irish guy was suddenly tech manager.

He's always good for a joke when he arrives at these places whether it be with the locals, the food, or the city life itself. One of my favorite lines was when they had to take the "Rastafarian Mystery Van" to get to their destination.

I think the next time we'll see Jersey Dave is when Steve finally gets on his last nerve about his "pink" headphones. I have a funny feeling there will be requests for GH to make "Here comes Jersey." Tango shirts. I'd probably buy one myself. I think they did it for "Dude, run!" Harnois.

I had read on the TAPS site months ago that Brian got the axe but not why and I never did check back on that. And it seemed like he was doing really well away from Jason. He probably got into a fight with Andy...again. Donna is also gone as well as a couple of the other girls. They've made their own team from what I understand, but I read that on her website before GHI hit the air. Maybe it had to do with her sudden "illness" in the middle of last season. She has a myspace page http://www.myspace.com/vestafire that explained why she left. But GHI does get to investigate some beautiful places! And the best scenery on GH is Kris Williams. Danged if she ain't a doll!!!

Isn't Brian the one who they fired from the original show back in Season 1 because he kept losing things and not taking responsibility (was that why?)?

What did he do now?
