And I think Bruce is now my second choice for Abe. You cannot deny the Campbell!

Striking Blonde actresses (not already mentioned in this thread) between 27-35

Katherine Heigl (mentioned by someone in a previous thread) (30)
Jessica Alba (27)
Diane Kruger (32) (National Treasure, Wicker Park)
Rachel McAdams (32) (Red-eye, Notebook)
Elizabeth Banks (34) (opposite Reynolds in Definietly Maybe, Betty Brandt-Spiderman 1-3)
Natalie Portman (27)
Jessica Beil (will be 27 in less than a year)
Kerri Russell (32) (Waitress, August Rush)
Natasha Henstridge (34)
Jaime Pressly (31) (Joe Dirt, Joy Turner on My Name Is Earl)

Honourable mention:
Elisha Cuthbert (26)
Scalett Johansson (mentioned previously on another thread) (24)
Rebecca Romjin (36)
Amanda Peet (36) because I like her

Personally, I still like Charlize (33) or Kate (33). Of the ones listed above, I like Jessica Beil and Jaime Pressly...you can list them as my official 3 and 4, respectively.

Axioms Jack seems to live by (inadvertantly or not):

Why he does what he does: "I chose this life. I know what I'm doing. And on any given day, I could stop doing it. Today, however, isn't that day. And tomorrow won't be either." Bruce Wayne, Identity Crisis

On Rasalom: "Water's wet, the sky is blue...and good old Satan Claus, Jimmy...he's out there...and he's just gettin' stronger." Joe Hallenbeck, The Last Boyscout

Off-topic question, since this seems to be the unofficial Burn Notice thread: I see season one is on DVD...is season one worth buying? How does it compare to 24/CSI Vegas/Alias in production, acting and storyline quality?

What about Brendan Fraser as Jack? Am watching Mummy 2 and realized he is the right build, right age and he has that wit thing going for him.

PS - Legion, you're not making a good case for your Burn Notice recommendation when you follow it up with something like that. -W

Hey! Frasier won an Oscar for Encino Man! He's the best!

Encino Man?!...where he had, what, 5 words of dialogue in the whole show other than grunting ? Are you going to cast Paulie Shore as Abe? Or Sean Astin? Actually, Sean Astin might do ok as Abe, come to think of it. Anywho...

Seriously though, that Oscar is not listed on IMDB...are you sure he won? I suspect he wasn't even nominated. In any case, Encino Man was 16 Years ago...he's done 34 films and a handful of TV shows since and Crash is his biggest honour to date. He won a SAG Award as part of the ensemble cast in that one. And no, I don't count the Blockbuster Entertainment Award he won for Mummy in 1999.

More importantly however, he's 6'3"...that's 2" taller than Reynolds, who many people complain is too tall for the role. then, there's his age...he was 24 when Encino Man was released...he's 40 now...which is too old for Jack in The Tomb. If I'm going to choose a 40 year old Jack then J-Don is the man, not Brendan. Then there's his looks...he's too handsome for Jack...Thomas Jane is way uglier. Last but not least is that he's way (waaaaay) to comedy for the role...another criticism of Reynolds, but I'd rather have him than Fraser.

I like Brendan. Heck, I own Encino Man, Bedazzled, Crash, both Mummy Movies
etc., etc. But he is not Jack if I'm casting the show.

Umm, that was a joke. A bit o' sarcasm, if you will.

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

The joke's on me then.

And, Legion, I'm already missing the animated GIF from your sig. Why'd you take it down? I was just getting de-sensitized to it.
