I've been rereading "Bloodline" and I noticed a small passage on page 186. Jack is in the Highwater Diner owened by George Kuropolis in the west fifties. It's mentioned that Jack had done a fix for him in the past. Was this reference from "A Day In The Life"? I don't have my books to check upon this, so any help is appreciated.

It is indeed a reference to "A Day In The Life."

My pleasure; it isn't often that I'm able to assist anyone with these types of dilemmas. I'm usually waiting for someone else to supply the answer so I can find out myself. I'm constantly amazed by what people uncover here; I used to think I was a fairly astute reader until I discovered this place.

You too? Ah, we keep each other on our toes! I hope that make us intellectuals!

I'm pretty sure I don't qualify in the intellectual department; I'm only as deep as a petri dish(but I like it that way, it's easier to keep me happy).

You'd think that Killing people would make them like you, but it doesn't! it just makes people dead.
