I would be so happy if I could hear someone say they loved this. It would make me think maybe I was alone with what I thought. Oh well: this is just what I thought. See it and judge for yourself.

See, for me, 10,000 BC was very disappointing! Not terrible, not quite on par with other disastrous epic flicks like Troy, but the film's potential for a journey to greatness is far longer than anything its characters had to take. Not nearly enough action, monsters, or adventure - mostly just "epic journeying," with some fights and creatures thrown in to keep the audience awake (if they're not completely comatose). C'maaaan...! This should have been terrific fun. *shakes head sadly* Nope. 'tweren't for me!

Alas, I am not able to grant your wish and disagree with your review. I was really bored so I watched this last night at a local theater, and I was even able to view this movie all by my lonesome. Yep, not another person watching that movie to annoy me. (That is the 3rd time I've been able to "enjoy" a movie all alone in that theater, and I rarely go there.) Unfortunately they always get crappy reels and the viewing experience is quite bad, so I was robbed of any jaw-dropping scenery. Also, the reel broke loose twice near the beginning so I spent about 10 minutes in the dark trying to decide whether or not to demand my money back, which I should have and saved myself $7 and the wasted 2 hours I spent watching this flick. Guess I didn't need annoying movie-goers to irk me as the theater took care of that. Not a bad movie but I don't see any awards coming their way either. My advice is wait until it hits dvd.

I saw "The 10,000 BC" after I saw stupid movie,"NEXT". Well, it was better than NEXT. Big Grin

It reminded me of Apocalypt. But at the last sequence, I thought "Oh! this is prequel to Stargate!"

Roland Emmerich's bad joke...? :p
