I was at Arrow in the Head, the horror movie sister site to JoBlo.com, when I saw a news blurb saying, "Ruben directs Jack." Excited and somewhat nervous, I clicked through (http://www.joblo.com/arrow/index.php?id=11951), then relaxed when I read it was a "medical thriller that centers on a doctor who rehabilitates and ultimately falls for an accident victim with memory loss, unaware that he is actually a killer."
So if you hear news about an upcoming JACK movie, be wary - it might just be this.
