I loved A-Team when I was a kid. The undigested child in me gave a kick to my belly once I heard it was being made into a movie. That is... until I read that John Singleton is making it.

Anybody else got one of these?

They passed an old woman who was just opening the door of a brown Cadillac. An old man was already sitting in the passenger seat. The car had a personalized plate with the letters “J-U-S-P-R-A-Y”.
“That stuff work?” Israel said to her.
“‘Scuse me?” the little old woman said, clutching her keys.
“The spray. Does it keep them away?”
“Keep who away?” She looked confused.
“I gotcha.” Israel gave her a conspiratorial wink.

Interview with a Vampire

Might have been a good movie if Tom Cruise wasnt in it.

I actually was looking forward to House of the Dead. I hadn't heard of Uwe Boll so I had no clue what I was in store for. I popped in the DVD and plopped down on the couch to watch with my wife and we were stunned from the opening credits how terrible it was. He incorporated parts of the video game in it.

Then there was Bloodrayne- a game my wife LOVES (and she's not even a gamer). I was really anticipating this until I found out Boll was involved. The question is how the hell they got Ben Kingsley in it.

I would have loved to have been in on that boxing thing where Boll took on those nerd-critics. I'm not some 130lb. kid who's allergic to a raised heart rate.

I thought Cruise was pretty good. Queen of the Damned was a huge disappointment. Stuart Townsend didn't do Lestat anywhere near as well as Cruise.

I just hate Tom Cruise.
Doesnt matter what movie he is in .. he cant act for shit unless he is playing himself. So if you think of a movie that you think he did good acting in .. it wasnt acting he was just playing himself.
I think every movie he was in would be better with someone else.

That could be a thread Smile

Now I don't want to make a career out of defending Tom, but I think he was exceptional in Rain Man and has been good in a few others like Taps, A Few Good Men, Risky Business, Collateral, All The Right Moves...off the top of my head. His celebrity has made it impossible for moviegoers to separate him from the character he is playing.

In my defense of hating Tom Cruise. I didnt just jump on the bandwagon when he revealed his insanity. I have always hated him.

I still see some of his movies because damnit he gets choice parts. And I'll admit on occasion he does ok. But as an actor I still hate him.

I thought everyone had an actor that they just hated?

my bf hates Will Farrell
I have an ex that hates James Spader
etc.

They do I'm sure. Personally, I find it hard to watch Will Ferrell movies. I just can't stand to watch him.
