I like the timer in the crawlspace and the rigged truck outside from Legacies.

Also, the final scene of Jack bleeding (to death?) in his chair in The Tomb.

Welcome to the board.

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

My two favorite fix-it scenes are the Santa fix and the tires from the helicopter drop. Either will make me smile when I think of them.

These were the exact same two scenes that came to my mind, Colbalt! And just about every scene with Jack and his father in Gateways.

Some of my favorites--> When Jack smashes the dude up that tries to grab his gal at the beginning of All the Rage and when he gets jacked up on the drug and starts raving about "king of the road" stuff. Very funny!

Anything with Abe is good, too. Big Grin

Bgerk0504 Wrote:Hi! I joined in December and I was just wondering what everyone's favorite Repairman Jack scene is. I know that all of the books are wonderful, but I was just wondering if anyone liked a specific part. My favorites would be when he saves his dad from the tornado and yells at it and the part about the eyeballs. I love the way he can morph himself to fit into any situation. He has played loads of personas, varying from gay men to nerds. I just thought that I would get some opinions from other people. Thanks!

My favorite scene is dropping of used tires and oil from the helicopter in All The Rage. That's the best scene! Big Grin

That would be me!! Big Grin

Nah, I'm not that bad, am I?

So favorite scene? Since the title of the thread is favorite F. Paul Wilson scene I'm going to go against the norm so far and say The Keep in its entirity since it would be shameful to just chose one scene.

But as for RJ...too hard to pick put I like the part in All The Rage when Jack is doped up on beserk and kills that guy before going and attacking Gia. (He does kill the guy, right? I'm having a hard time remebering if he kills him or just beats the shit out of the guy.)

Oh and welcome to the board.

Welcome aboard the board

I also tend to select Santa as my favorite scene

However one other is the appearance of a mysterious old man outside Jacks house (in Harbingers)

A very small scene - but I loved it
