Faithful adaptation of Let the Right One In, almost scene for scene. A little less subtle, however, about the old caretaker to the new. Those of you who saw the original know what I'm talking about. Worth a view, if only for comparison. Might want to wait for the rental.

P.S. Women in the audience wow'd about this movie. Guys grunted. What else is new?

I watched it and didn't really like it all that much at first. Then, after I turned it over in my head a little bit, I found that I really loved it. The secret is in viewing it as a pitch dark comedy instead of a horror film or supernatural coming-of-age drama.

"The most dangerous man, to any government, is the man who is able to think things out for himself. Almost inevitably, he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane and intolerable." - H. L. Mencken
