It's not a Helix. Best guess, it has to do with the Othernes taking over from the Allie. Yeah, I know pretty vague. I'll go further, it reminds me of the ying and yang symbol, but a lot more complicated. It also looks like one is taking over the other, or just trying to hide the other (like an eclipse), they're not entertwined. This will be the book when we lose all contact with the Ally, no more yennaceri, no more mother Earth types, nothing. The scales will be in favor of the R guy after this and will embolden him to go to collage.
