Auskar Wrote:I like Repairman Jack. I also like Jack Reacher. But I really like Jack Crow. And Felix. Especially Felix. To me, Repairman Jack and Jack Reacher are the 'other' Jacks...
One of the best sci-fi books every written IMO.

It's an 88 magnum. It shoots through schools.

I love Child's writing, but his research *sucks*. His writing is very improbable many times.

Just picked up Killing Floor and am thoroughly enjoying it. The only problem is that I am reading that but also Meg: Hell's Aquarium by Steve Alten, The Doomsday Key by James Rollins, waiting for The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown and just got the first 3 books of Michael Moorcock's the Elric Saga. Oh and don't let me forget. If all of those books be the sun than the moon that eclipses them all is coming out very soon.... I speak of Ground Zero. What's a guy to do?

Shit, I just remembered I also got the 3rd Dean Koontz Frankenstein book.

My god..................
What's a dude to do?

I have enjoyed many of the Reacher books but was put off after reading Nothing to Lose. I understand Reacher's code od justice/vengeance but allowing a nuclear dirty bomb to explode on American soil--way out of character. Seemed more of a sell out to the Hollywoodesque ending.

If you pick up Stephen Kings new novel The Dome Jack Reacher actually has a small role in it with regards to one of the characters in the book-the crossover is actually pretty cool on Kings part-maybe Jack can make a cameo in one of the Reacher books or vice versa-now that would be neat!
