I was away in AC for a few days and the package was packed so well that it survived an overnighter in the rain. Amazingly good story for only five hundred words. The look on the guys face as he takes his header is priceless.

Came in the post today. Cracking good story. I think I'll be framing it. Number 108/200. (If anyone's interested, but why would you be?)

Hello All,
I'm the publisher of the Broadside, Mark Lavendier, and I'm glad the initial reviews are good. Let me clear up the term Broadside a little bit, it is an old English term for a one sheet piece that was usually a news story or political statement that was then pasted to a wall for the public to read. I was inspired to publish in this format after a good friend printed a self portrait in a woodcut format as a X-mas card last year. Finding a letterpress printer with a press big enough to do the job was the tough part, but I've got a great printer now involved in the project and two friends are supplying the illustrations for the series. Paul was nice enough to agree to supply the text for the second print in my projected series of six broadsides, Jack Ketchum is supplying the text for the next in series with more great authors to follow. Anyhow let me say again how happy I am that your all pleased with the offering. If there is any questions I can answer, please fire away..
