Hello FPW and fellow board members--

So I've just started reading and have a few questions. (I did a board search and couldn't find a straight answer.)

I started with The Keep and I intend to read through the Adversary Cycle before moving forward with Repairman Jack. I just finished the "author's definitive edition" of The Tomb, and I'm a bit unclear as to how the novel connects to The Keep. Did I miss something? Was something changed between the original edition and the new Ipods-and-all version? Or will everything become clear as I continue to read the Adversary books?

Welcome JFCC!

Yep, just keep reading. The Keep, The Tomb and The Touch were all intended as "stand-alone" novels that eventually tie-in back in at the end of the Adversary Cycle. Reborn, Reprisal and Nightworld are a lot more obviously related to each other, but Nightworld brings the whole set to an absolutely amazing and wonderful conclusion.

Hope you'll enjoy hanging out with us here on the board. Feel free to ask any questions - we just love talking about FPW's books! Smile

Welcome aboard JFCC.
Please do as our fellow board members suggested, keep reading. Soon all will become clear, but there will be no coincidences now. Wink
Also check out the cross reference and FAQ sections, there is much to be learned there.
