They are playing 8 of the stories from this book every Wednesday from July 12th thru August 2nd on TNT.

I hope they are as good as Desparation was!

Cool! I'm going to have to re-read the book since I haven't touched it in many, many years. Looks like they have some pretty big name actors in some of them. Very cool. Cool

Thanks for info! I hope I can see them in cable channel or DVDs.

"The Road Virus Heads North" and "You Know They Got A Hell of a Band" are my favorite stories.

Thanks, now I just have to remember to watch it each Wednesday

Don't forget that Stephen King's Nightmares and Dreamscapes starts tonight at 8:00pm CST on TNT. Tonights stories are Battleground and Crouch End. Crouch End is the one I really want to see.

Wasn't Battleground in Night Shift? It was always one of my favorites.

Yes it was, and it was also made into a movie/episode before.... though I don't remember which show ....Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, etc???

That was cool! I really liked Battleground. Can you believe that entire episode was done without anyone saying a single word? Crouch End was different from what I remember but it was still cool.

Next week is Umney's Last Case and The End of the Whole Mess! Woo hoo!

Battleground was not in Nightmare and Dreamscapes but I have long since lost my copy of Night Shift to go back and read it. darn it!
