I once a Sci-Fi short story where a man was listening to music and aromas were released at certain points of the music. Possibly their inspiration for the movie?? Damned if I can recall the name of the story.

Found the story. Melancholy Elephants by Spider Robinson. It was called a "scent symphony".

Today I saw it in a theater. In a theater where I saw it, "NO SMELL". 
Movie was.....boring. It was very beautiful movie but quiet. I became drowsy. If you see this movie, you need bitter coffee.
