Oi, you are preaching to the choir, to use a beat to death cliche. I have watched all the X-Files, in order, on DVD, and I miss it horribly. Am I the only one here, though, that liked season 7? Mulder was still there, it was still Mulder and Scully, and I thought it was just as good as seasons 5-6. 8 and 9 were the Doggett and Reyes years, which is hard to digest. I still watch those, but they just aren't quite the same as seasons 1-7.
I have one question though: when they left the series, the specifically said that they were not done making X-Files. They just weren't going to make an hour-long mini-movie every week anymore. Instead, they were going to begin work on a fairly steady stream of X-Files movies. Apparently this was just said to calm the erupting anger of X-Philes the world over that didn't want it to end. I have heard that Duchovney wants nothing more than to do another movie...yet Chris Carter is holding off. Come on Chris, hold to your promise! Until then...there are always the DVD's.
