Paul:

I wanted to thank you for the inspiration that I got for a new short story. I finished MIDNIGHT MASS a couple of weeks ago, so I've had vampires on my mind, and I came up with an interesting idea for a vampire story (at least I think it's interesting).

Don't worry, it doesn't rip off anything in the book, nor does it take place in the world of MIDNIGHT MASS. Smile

Thanks again!

Post it (or a link) when you are done if you can. I'd be interested to read it.

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

Jimbow:

I finally completed the first draft of this story over the weekend (I was working on two stories at once, and the other story just kept growing and growing and growing...). If you're still interested, I'm hoping to have the finished story next week.

Okay, the story is finally done, and if I do this right, it should be attached as a Word document. If you do read it, I welcome all comments.

Thank you very much!

Okay, the document itself was just a little bit too large, so I had to zip it up. Enjoy! Big Grin
