For fans of the BBC Crime drama/thriller, series 5 of the hit show has been commissioned and the first episode is set to air in July of 2007. I am not sure if BBC America will air it then or not, but this is good news indeed for fans of the Val McDermid inspired series featuring robson Greene as Doctor Tony Hill. Can't wait!

This is one of my favorites. BBC America shows crime drama on Monday nights and used to show them on Thursday nights, too (but not any longer). If Wire in the Blood is set to show in July 2007 in Britain, that means we'll probably get it sometime in 2008 or 2009. Right now I think we're watching Waking the Dead.

Season 4 was run at the same time here in the states as it was in the UK. There may have been a few weeks seperating the air dates. The BBC America isn't that far behind on airing their shows stateside.

I know that I am super stoked though that we get another 5 episodes of the best thriller on TV to date. WOOHOO!
