Let me start by stating that this movie is not a summer action movie. It is a summer comedy with tons of action thrown in. The plot is pretty self-evident from the previews - a husband and wife learn that they are assasins and assigned to kill each other. If you go into it divorced from the expecting a meaningful plot and just let yourself get swept up by the energy of it, you will probably enjoy it immensely. I did.
Vince Vaughn is his normal frantic self, though this is not one of his best recent parts. I loved the constant husband/wife bantering once the two main characters learn of their situation. There were several times when I guffawed aloud in the crowded theater and literally could not stop laughing - mostly involving characters "exiting" moving vehicles.
Good time.

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.
~ Howard Phillips Lovecraft
