Dave wants to do a hardcover of The Tery (that and Virgin are my only novels that have never been in hardcover). He's got some rough sketches of the art already. The file of the first half of the novel is corrupted beyond recall so he'll have to scan those pages. The second is okay.

Let me know if he announces a pub date.

From the back of The Tery:

The Beauty
A wild girl, her only sin was that she was not telepathic.

The Beast
He looked like a bear, but thought -- and felt -- like a human boy.

...And The Secret Agent
Only he knows the secret of the bear-boy's intelligence and the wild girl's love, and only he can save them -- and perhaps their world, as well.

From the back of Virgin:

They followed the path of ancient scrolls into the Judean desert. A pilgrimage that wiser scholars had dismissed as a hoax.

They unearthed one of the greatest discoveries of all time. The perfectly preserved body of the Virgin Mary.

They hid her remains in a small church in New York. But they could not hide the miracles...

Soon the whole world would know the wonder of her healings. The sick are made well. The weak are made strong. The faithless are redeemed. But the Catholic priest and nun who discovered her secret cannot control the power she wields. With the miracle of her return comes an omen of evil. Evil that must be cleansed... by any means necessary.

They're both very good, and you should be able to find them both on Amazon at reasonable prices in paperback.

IMHO, both books are better than the teasers make them sound. Particularly The Tery. I got my copy of that book from a used bookstore on the clearance rack for fifty cents Big Grin . It's worth way more than that!

Heck yeah! I'd pay $.79, even $.99 for it. But seriously, buy every FPW paperback you can find if you just want to read his stuff. I also recommend the paperback of The LaNague Chronicles. It's the only edition that combines all of his major LaNague stuff (although I keep hoping that he'll publish a book containing every LaNague story).
