That definitely looks like something that would come outa Semelees' swimming hole. The eyes sorta look like Doras' shell. I would NOT want to see that thing coming after me.:eek::eek::eek::eek:

I imagined it with giant crystalline teeth like those freaky deep water fish. But that body is spot on.

Well, there's only so much info you can put into a few hundred pages, I like to think I have a little more imagination that what is matter-of-factly placed in front of me. Besides, I bet the good doctor intended us to think above and beyond the printed words. I'm sure there could be hundreds of books written about the events that happened during the Nightworld scenario.
I think this is a cool looking bug. I saw it and thought "wow! I wonder if this could be something that came out of a hole in Nightworld."
