My Collection - Flinx - 05-21-2005

No bookcases don't have the space for it, most of my books are packed in plastic storage boxes. I have a small storage shed for my book & comic collection, also have them stacked up in piles all over my rooms. No digital camera so no photos unfortunately. The FPW part of my collection is very small;
WILSON, F. Paul
Deep As The Marrow
Nightkill (with Stephen Spruill)
Sims
LaNague Federation
Dydeetown World
An Enemy Of The State (Stealth – 1st printing) - s
The Tery - s
Healer (Dell & Stealth - s – 1st printings)
Wheels Within Wheels (Dell & Berkley – 1st printings)
The LaNague Chronicles - s
The Adversary Cycle
The Keep - s
The Tomb
Nightworld
Repairman Jack
The Tomb - s
Legacies - s
Conspiracies - s
All The Rage - s
Hosts
The Haunted Air
Collections
Soft And Others
The Barrens And Others
Anthology appearances
Dancing With The Dark
Dick Tracy: The Secret Files (Tor – 2nd printing)
The Further Adventures Of The Joker
Horrible Beginnings
Open Space 2 - s
Razored Saddles
Shock Rock

All are US paperbacks except for the Stealth hardcovers. The books with "s" after them are signed copies that Elizabeth & the staff at DreamHaven Books were kind enough to get signed for me.

I also have a pencil sketch by Ken Kelly recreating his cover art for The LaNague Chronicles.

SteveBlack Wrote:Blimey FPW - your collection is nearly as big as Biggles', Aphew's and my own Wink

Mine's not that big. I'm not worthy to be on your AAA farm team. Smile

Oy Biggles - stop with this false modesty already nu?

Put up your bookcase and show us what you've got. Scotland is too far away from you for me to come and pinch all your prize pieces so need to wrry about thay..... unless it's because you don't want anyone to know about your leather 'The Touch' :p

Thanks for putting that together, Lisa.

Sorry about the quality of the photos, folks, but it was impossible to get good angles on a couple of the shelf sections.

The videotapes below the pulp mags are the almost-complete FTL collection which I'm slowly, painfully transferring to DVD (good capture is such a bitch).

Atop book case 3 you see some of my clock collection. L to R: a Jefferson Mystery Clock, a digital TV -style clock from the 50s, a Westclox Moonbeam clock for the deaf (silent - the section next to the clockface starts blinking at the set time) and a measuring tape clock (the hours and fractions there of are ticked off as inches and fractions on the 12-in circumference). The piece you see to the far right is from the UK -- it's coin operated (?!?!?!?). I've never been able to figure that one.

Cool clocks rule.

I can see Japanese edition. Japanese edition's books are all small and red covers. So easy to find out in your bookshelves. Big Grin

Does anyone on the group? (Not the Borderlands leather but the H&S private UK edition from the 80s?)
