Aftershock & Others - Scott Hajek - 03-09-2004

Biggles Wrote:Careful now Scott. You're sounding like a "completist". Query: If you're not completely "completist", can you be partially "completist"?

I did go to a completist support group but got kicked out for not having perfect attendance.

Why, you'd then be an "Incompletist," right? Good God, I'm away from my internet cafe for a few days and I find the new board. And poor me a computer illiterate! Well, that's gonna have to change. Looks like the broken-down bluesman will be doin' some more hard-travelin'. Can we still reply to postings from the old board. I'm (sob) in a maze in a daze. Biggles--halp!

I may not be computer illiterate, but I only know enough to be dangerous. Jim and the co-queens are your best bets for "helpful" information. On the other hand, if you want me to dazzle you with bullshit, I'm certainly capable.

Thank you, Biggles, but I was just surprised by the new board. I'll figure it out (he said with grim determination).

Biggles is good at the bullshitting as anyone who attended GU-3 can attest. Big Grin

Well, God has granted each of us our talents, hasn't He? All our worthy in His eyes.

Thanks for the list. Now, I just have to be patient.

1995
(the word)

I can't be expected to wait until 2006 surely! I suppose I could start rereading everything I have though... and judging by my reading speed, that should take me well beyond 3006, let alone 2006! That's one of the good news/bad news things regarding this internet malarky. You hear about things so far in advance that it seems to take forever to happen.

I'll never forget the time I first assaulted the search engine with the phrase 'F Paul Wilson' though. At the time I only had half a dozen books (what can I say, Sunny England has never embraced The Man like your New York Times bestseller's list apparantly has!) and to find dozens more at my fingertips was a great day indeed.

But getting back to the point, here's a question: Why is (the word) in brackets?
