small typo in Midnight Mass, First Edition - dejo - 03-17-2005 FPW, just finished reading Midnight Mass. It was "ossym". Anyways, found the same typo in a couple of places, Carole is spelled 'Carol' on pages 239 and 275. Just jumped out at me, especially since earlier in the book she tells Lacey that it's 'Carole, with an e'. P.S. If this is not the best way to inform you of typos, please let me know what is. Don't want to "annoy the artist". small typo in Midnight Mass, First Edition - Biggles - 03-17-2005 dejo Wrote:FPW, just finished reading Midnight Mass. It was "ossym". Darn. If it had been a vampire, I would've been able to handle it. But a Rakosh? Arrgghh! small typo in Midnight Mass, First Edition - Mike - 03-18-2005 dejo Wrote:Darn. If it had been a vampire, I would've been able to handle it. But a Rakosh? Arrgghh! Are typos in first edition books something like flaws in coins? For example the 1955 double die penny? In other words, do these typos make the book more valuable? Or are you people just being "nitpicky"? :p small typo in Midnight Mass, First Edition - fpw - 03-18-2005 dejo Wrote:FPW, just finished reading Midnight Mass. It was "ossym". I'll keep an eye out. dejo Wrote:P.S. If this is not the best way to inform you of typos, please let me know what is. Don't want to "annoy the artist". A private message would be better. No point in cluttering up the Forum with minutia that's of interest only to me. small typo in Midnight Mass, First Edition - Jay #1 - 03-18-2005 Some collector somewhere would probably pay alot. Who knows. I personally have one book at home that has 3 books in one. Page 297 of the first story was repeated in the third. In the place of the one that was supposed to be there. It looks like those were the only Carol/Carole typos, but you never know.... Mike Wrote:Or are you people just being "nitpicky"? Speaking for myself, I'm just nitpicky. Thanks for the advice. I will do so next time. Although, hopefully there won't be a next time. small typo in Midnight Mass, First Edition - Biggles - 03-18-2005 dejo Wrote:Darn. Maybe if you offer him a cold Rolling Rock and let him watch the NCAA tournament on your plasma TV he'll spare you. small typo in Midnight Mass, First Edition - Bluesman Mike Lindner - 03-20-2005 Biggles Wrote:Yeah, that Scarlip's a mean mutha.
