I just got back from a stirring performance (my own) of The Christmas Thingy for my son's class and they were entranced, most of them anyhow. Great fun.

I spoke to Matt Scwartz today about doing for Thingy next fall what we did for Beige this fall: He'll take orders for the book until December 1, then I'll inscribe them to the intended child/recipient and he'll send them out in time for Christmas.
