I have tagged this as spoilers since I don't want to spoil this for anyone. After completing both the Adversary Cycle and the Repairman Jack series ( following the Secret History of the world order ) yesterday I have just one question.
What happened to the yeniçeri? I would have thought that they would have had an appearance in "The Dark at the End" or "Nightworld". For the life of me I can't recall seeing them after the meeting in Julio's with Jack in "Ground Zero." Did I miss something?

No. They were out of reach in their house on Nantucket. They might have survived the cataclysm. They were certainly armed enough to have survived. Let's assume they did.

I understand they all moved to Avon, NJ and opened a seafood chow-down called "OTHERNESS": home of the famed 'Mystery Fish Surprise' (up the street from "THE COLUMNS", my wife and I's favorite nightspot and the #1 place on da Joi'sey sure!)!!" I'm sure we also would like to know the fate of Jack's friends, the Pineys, in his old town? Any chance of a short story about them during the events in "NIGHTWORLD"??
